Old Actonians Badminton Club plays throughout the winter months in the Pavilion Hall at the Actonians ground in Ealing, about 10 mins walk from Acton Town tube station. This 2007-2008 season will start in September 2007, with Club nights every Wednesday and Sunday. Home matches in 2007 will be played on Tuesdays.
We have a selection of ladies, men's and mixed teams playing in the local Hammersmith league which is of varying standards. We are a small friendly club always ready to welcome new members and this year we are looking for keen, potential match players. We only have one court and therefore cannot take beginners.
A summer club runs from April to September - we play every Tuesday from 7.30-9.30, and the cost is £2 per session
The club uses feather shuttles for all matches and club nights. We organise various events during the season including friendly tournaments and Christmas and Summer dinners. The annual subscription is £60.00 plus the Sports Club membership fee. Match fees are £3.00.
